Equitage Ventures I
We started Equitage Ventures with a simple premise: aging is everyone’s future, and we’re not investing in it like we should.
Equitage Ventures is a $47.3m early-stage fund providing capital, distribution, and strategic guidance to entrepreneurs addressing the unmet physical, mental, spiritual, and social needs of older adults. Our typical check sizes will range from $250k — $2.5m.
We’re operators, investors, and entrepreneurs who’ve spent our careers in senior care and healthcare. Adam runs Solera Senior Living, a leading developer and operator of senior living communities. Russell co-founded Generator Ventures and brings decades of healthcare venture investing experience. Danny has been operating and investing in AgeTech since 2013.
Our LP capital spans the care continuum: senior living and skilled nursing operators, home health and hospice agencies, home care leaders, as well as corporates from healthcare technology to healthcare real estate and consumer products. These aren’t just check-writers. They’re our thought partners in diligence, product feedback, and go-to-market, and we believe this alignment creates durable value for both our LPs and founders.
We take our inspiration from the Bristlecone Pine, the oldest living tree on Earth. It thrives where others can’t, growing slowly and deliberately in the harshest conditions. To us, its journey mirrors that of both company building and aging itself — each shaped by resilience, adaptability, and staying power.
We’re deploying into themes where we see urgent need and real opportunity: compliance infrastructure for senior housing and SNFs, documentation automation for home and facility-based care, passive monitoring, oral health, dementia and behavioral health, care navigation, and family caregiving. These aren’t hypotheticals — they’re daily pain points felt by all.
Aging demands and deserves the best from all of us. We’re here to meet that challenge with focus, humility, and urgency.
Health Equity + Age = Equitage
